N50M ONSA receipt: EFCC releases Abati on bail. .

A former Special Adviser to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan on Media and Publicity, Dr. Reuben Abati was on Friday night released on bail by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

The former presidential spokesman was arrested last week following an allegation that he received N50m from the Office of the National Security Adviser for unspecified reasons.

Abati was said to have surrendered his international passport to the anti graft agency as part of the conditions for his bail.
