Eagles Walk Tight Rope As Enyeama Pulls Out Of Tanzania Match

Nigeria's chances of winning Saturday's Gabon 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Dar es Salaam may have been compromised as safe hands Vincent Enyeama has withdrawn from the encounter.

Coach Sunday Oliseh who confessed that Enyeama's decision has put him in a tight corner told a press conference that the Lille goalkeeper asked to be withdrawn from the team.

It is being speculated in sports circles that Enyeama's withdrawal is the result of his bickering with Nigerian Football Federation, NFF officials over the use of unsafe venues in the North of the country.

Meanwhile, Enyeama's absence is Wolves goalkeeper Carl Ikeme's chance to make his debut for Nigeria on Saturday afternoon.
