Eagles Train Behind Closed Doors Ahead Of Tanzania Clash

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have been training behind closed doors at the National Stadium in Abuja for maximum concentration.

However, team spokesman Toyin Ibitoye said yesterday that fans would be allowed to watch the three time African champions' training for just 15 minutes on Wednesday.

Coach Sunday Oliseh will on Thursday depart Nigeria for Tanzania with a team of 23 players for Saturday's encounter with that country's national team, the Taifa Stars.

The match which will be the Super Eagles' second game in Gabon 2017 Africa cup of Nations qualifiers is Oliseh's first as national team coach.

In their first match, the Eagles defeat Chad 2-0 in Kaduna under the guidance of former coach Stephen Keshi. A victory in Dar es Salaam will put the Eagles in pole position to qualify for Gabon 2017

The Super Eagles as defending champions missed the last edition of the competition when they failed to qualify.
