Find killers of Abuja policemen and get 5 million.

Do you want to add a couple of millions to your bank account? Here's an opportunity for you. All you have to do is to find the killers of some policemen in Abuja and Edo State.

The Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, is offering a N5 million reward to anyone with information on the killers of seven policemen at Galadimawa in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja on July 2 and the murder and burning of four officers in Edo State on July 14.

Apart from the five million naira reward, the police boss is assuring the would be informant of full confidentiality and protection.

The slain Abuja policemen were on stop and search operation when they were attacked by unknown gunmen. Five suspects have however been arrested in connection with the crime.

The 4 Edo policemen were reportedly killed in Sabon Gida Ora on Saturday by unknown gunmen who loaded their dead bodies in their patrol van and set it on fire .

The spokesman of the Nigeria Police Force, Acting DCP, Jimoh Moshood said in a statement in Abuja on Monday that his men needed credible information that would lead to the arrest of the killers .

“In order to arrest the other suspects still at large in the first incident, the Force is desirous of more credible information from the public, and hereby pledges a reward of N5m to any member of the public that provides useful information that leads to the arrest of the remaining perpetrators of the ambush attack and killing of seven policemen in Abuja or the recent ambush and killing of four policemen on patrol at Sabon Gida, Ora , in Edo State on July 14 , 2018.

“The Force wishes to assure that the informant will be protected and his/ her identity secured.”

Meanwhile, the Inspector General of Police has directed the immediate payment of the entitlements of the slain police officers to their families.
