Benue Gov gives herdsmen 48 hours to leave LGA

Following the weekend attack on Tombo-Mbalagh community in which 8 people have been confirmed dead, GH the Governor of Benue State, Mr Samuel Ortom has given Fulani herdsmen 24 hours to leave Buruku Local Government Area.

During his visit to the community on Monday, Ortom said that the herdsmen must leave since they were not welcomed by the unarmed inhabitants of the area.

Recall that Benue State people were disarmed through the amnesty programme  executed by the Ortom administration in 2015.
