Fallen Col Abu Ali wins Sun's Nigerian Hero award

Fallen Patriot and hero, Lt Col Mohammed Abu Ali C/O 272 BN, aka Serikin Yaki (lord of war) has won the Sun's Nigerian Hero Award for the year 2016. 

Ali's family also got cash support from Governors Nyesom Wike of Rivers State and Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State.

Lt Col Abu Ali was killed at Malam Fatori in Borno State on November 4, 2016 in an ambush by Boko Haram terrorists. He was noted for decimating the ranks of the insurgents in several key battles in the Northeast.
