Photos from school established by troops for IDPs in Bama

Troops of 21 Brigade, 7 Division Nigerian Army, established this makeshift school for the children at the Internally Displaced Persons, IDP camp in Bama, Borno State using military tents.

The school comprises of 6 military tents in which soldiers not on essential duty serve as teachers. Some professional teachers among the IDPs also help with the teaching.

Presently, the school serves population of over 3,000 children in addition to the adult education segment that handles adult literacy for women.
