If you won't fight Avengers, stop fighting Boko Haram - Ango Abdullahi

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo's Adviser on Food Security, Prof Ango Abdullahi, on Tuesday, told the Federal Government to fight the Niger Delta Avengers or leave Boko Haram alone.

Speaking at a book launch tagged ;"The life and times of Umaru Turakin Bauchi at 2015 and Boko Haram: The charade versus the reality at 2016" in Abuja, Abdullahi said that the activities of the Avengers constituted the greatest threat to the nation's security.

"If we find truly that we cannot peacefully develop this country, the solution is to go our separate ways, why not?

“Even now, we are not happy with the kind of standard of security that is being applied in the country. If you are not going to fight Avengers, you should stop fighting Boko Haram," he said.
