Anti narcotics agency raises the alarm over recruitment fraud

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA has warned job seekers against scammers masquerading as its recruitment agents.

Head of Public Affairs, NDLEA, Mitchell Ofoyeju told the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN on Wednesday that the agency does not recruit its personnel secretly.

He pointed out that many had sadly fallen victim to the recruitment fraudsters.

“We are not recruiting yet. If we want to do so, we do it openly. The public should beware of fraudsters claiming to be NDLEA recruiting agents.

“Unfortunately, many people have been duped by these fraudsters. Some victims claimed they paid between N30,000 and N70,000 to them.

“People should always ask questions from those in authority before applying for anything,” he advised.
