The Millennium Plaza owned by former Kogi State Governor, the late Prince Abubakar Audu went up in flames at the Central Business District, Abuja on Friday.
The fire outbreak which started at about 2 pm was to have been ignited by a power surge.
The fire which destroyed the pent house and the third floor of the building spread to the next building where it also affected the pent house and the third floor.
It however later put out by the fire service of the NNPC and men of the Federal Fire Service.
