Angry youths go berserk as prophet fails to resurrect dead politician

The remains of the APC candidate in Saturday's Kogi State governorship election, the late Prince Abubakar Audu were on Monday afternoon, laid to rest at his Ogbonicha country home in Ofu local government area of the state.

Earlier on, the youths of the community had defied Audu's family to allow a prophet who claimed to have the power to resurrect the dead politician access to his body.

However, when he failed to resurrect the dead man, the youths went berserk and almost lynched the prophet.

It was after the prophet had failed in his mission that a team of imams from across Igala land performed the burial rites.

It was a harvest of tears at the well attended burial as the community bemoaned their loss.
