The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF on Monday evening confirmed the appointment of Frenchman Paul Le Guen as the Technical Adviser to the Super Eagles following the recommendation of its technical committee.
Salisu Yusuf will be assisting Le Guen as chief coach while Imama Amapakabo and Alloy Agu will serve as assistant coach and goalkeeper trainer respectively.
Le Guen will be succeeding Sunday Oliseh who left in controversial circumstances after his disastrous outing at the 2016 African Nations championship in Rwanda.
The 52 years old tactician who qualified Cameroon for the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa is expected to repeat the feat with Nigeria for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia ahead of Algeria, Cameroon and Zambia in Group B.
