Herdsmen kill traditional ruler, driver in Plateau State

Suspected Fulani herdsmen on Monday killed the Chairman of Bokkos Traditional Council and Saf Ron Kulere, Sir Lazarus Agai in his hometown, Sha.

The monarch was killed alongside his driver while returning from his farm in Sha.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Plateau State, Assistant Superintendent of Police, ASP Tyopev Terna confirmed the killing but said that no arrest has been made.

Bokkos is the hometown of Joshua Dariye, a serving senator and former governor of Plateau State.
