Troops Arrest Boko Haram Financier, Supplier In Borno

Army spokesman Col Sani Usman has disclosed that troops have arrested a supplier and financier of Boko Haram in Borno State.

He said in a statement he issued on Tuesday that the man named Mohammed Maina had one million naira in his possession at the time of his arrest.

He said that Maina also supplied kola nuts and other stimulants to the terrorists.

He said ;
“Investigation revealed that Mohammed supplies them (Boko Haram fighters) kolanuts and other items especially stimulants

“It is apparent also that he plies Maiduguri-Dikwa-Kulli axis, where he gathers monetary and other material contributions from Boko Haram sympathizers along that axis and sends same to the terrorists camps.”
