Nyanya Fire Service Seals Illegal Petrol Station In Estate

Following protests by residents of Unity Estate in Mararaba, Nasarawa State, the Federal Fire Service has sealed up a petrol station in the estate.

The residents are concerned that the petrol station which is almost completed will worsen the already bad traffic situation in the area and also endanger their lives in the event of fire outbreak since it is situated in the midst of residential houses and worship centers.

Zonal Commander of the Nyanya Division of the Federal Fire Service Mr Ijeoma Azubuike said the petrol station was sealed over the failure of its owner to provide evidence of approval for its construction in the area.
