Properties valued at several millions of naira were on Saturday evening destroyed in a fire outbreak at a cooking gas market in Kaduna North LGA.
An eyewitness said that the incident which happened at Abeokuta Street was caused by a spark from an electric cooker.

No ransom paid for release of Dapchi girls - Minister

The Minister of Information, Lai Muhammed has denied media reports that ransom was paid to terrorist group, Boko Haram for Wednesday's release of the kidnapped Dapchi school girls.
