"I think one thing that we must recognize is the way this administration works, it has always been that of team work.
There is very little that is done without the President’s clearance and endorsement, so generally speaking, even with some responsibilities that are mine constitutionally, we always have full discussions and agreements on them, and in some cases there is delegation. But by and large, I practically discussed practically everything fully with him while he was away and I had his endorsements before we were able to go on and do what we did."

4 children drown in River in Abuja
The bodies of four children – Jinkai Hakila, 10, Bridget Ibrahim, 11, Precious Ezra, 14 and Azumi Daniel, 16, were on Saturday fished out of Danko River in Galadimawa Community, a Federal Capital Territory, FCT Abuja suburb.
The News Agency of Nigeria, NAN reports that the victims were at the river to wash clothes before they drowned at about 11 am.
Miss Blessing Elisha, 14, an eye witness who was also washing at the river said that several efforts made to stop the children from playing in the water yielded no result before the incident.
“I actually did not see them entering the water because I was busy washing, suddenly I was called that three of them had entered the river.
“It was then I looked up and saw the fourth one going in and an attempt made to rescue her looked like I was getting drowned.
“Then I left her and ran to call for help,” she said.
A fisherman who participated in the rescue attempts corroborated Miss Elisha's account of the incident.
“We came to the scene of the incident immediately we got the information, and it took some time before we discovered their corpses because our nets were already in the river for fishing.
“It was after I pulled out my net with a very big fish in it that I saw the four corpses in the same area with their stomach not swollen,” he said.
Their remains were immediately buried by the river bank in line with the tradition of the community.

PMB's illness. caused by anemia - Expert
Following the disclosure by President Muhammadu Buhari that he received blood transfusions while undergoing treatment in London, a specialist in Anatomic Pathology, Prof Femi Williams has said that only anemia could have been warranted that kind of treatment.
Williams told The Nation in an interview that “We now have a pretty good idea of diagnosis, which is now comprehensive or good enough to say that the diagnosis of President Buhari’s illness is anemia.
“You cannot be transfused if you don’t have anemia.”
Buhari had at a meeting of the Federal Executive Council shortly after his return to Abuja warned of the dangers of self medication.
“I couldn’t recall when last I had blood transfusion; I couldn’t recall honestly I can say in my 70 years. I couldn’t remember this drug that Nigerians take so much , very common.
“I think one of our terrible things is self drug administration. We have to trust our doctors more and trust ourselves more because over there they only take drugs when it is absolutely necessary. They don’t just swallow everything,” he said.
Williams said that the snippets of information from the President’s history and disclosure on his health status will help millions of Nigerians damaging their vital organs from unbridled ingestion of over the counter (OTC) pain relieving and other drugs.
He also called for adequate publicity on the adverse effects of self medication and described the President Buhari’s view on the issue as a huge public service to the nation.
“Assuming this is the correct scenario, the nation owes the president a debt of gratitude and if this is not correct the president has done a great service by highlighting the adverse effects and dangers of self medication that is so rampant in the nation.”
