Pregnant Suicide Bomber killed in Borno

Security operatives working with members of the Civilian JTF have killed two female suicide bombers one of whom was a pregnant woman in Borno State.

The News Agency of Nigeria, NAN reports that the suicide bombers were killed when they attempted to attack a security post in Ummarari village along mulai axis of Maiduguri Damboa road at the outskirts of Maiduguri.

The spokesperson of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) in the North-East, Abdulkadir Ibrahim, told NAN that rescue workers evacuated the remains of the suicide bombers.

“When we got the alert on the incident, the NEMA emergency workers in collaboration with other stakeholders moved to the scene and evacuated the bodies,” he said.
