Newly appointed Comptroller General of Nigeria Immigration Service, Mr Martins Abeshi has warned his officers against corrupt practices.
During a working visit to Lagos, Abeshi told his men that President Buhari appointed him specifically to fight corruption in the service.
He warned those in the habit of collecting bribe that they could be offered marked money. He added that any corrupt officer exposed would be dismissed from the service.

Power Ministry Blames NASS For Outages

The management of the National Assembly is to blame for the intermittent power failure which disrupted the sitting of the Senate Ad hoc committee on the Power sector on Wednesday.
In a statement by Victor Oyedeji Deputy Director of Press, the ministry said the incessant power outages that characterized that day's sitting was caused by the internal power supply system of the National Assembly.

President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday approved the immediate sacking of the Chairmen of the Federal Capital Territory Internal Revenue Service, Secondary Education Board and Universal Basic Education Board.
