Buhari's aide provokes angry reactions with reminder of assassination attempt.

An attempt to celebrate the fourth anniversary of an attack on President Muhammadu Buhari’s convoy by his Personal Assistant , Bashir Ahmad has attracted angry remarks from Nigerians .

Ahmad had twitted a photo of the bullet ridden SUV in which the president was attacked while he was travelling as a presidential candidate four years ago.

The Nigerians who responded to the twit were particularly irked by President Buhari’s handling of rampant killings across the country .

Exactly 4 years ago, a clear assassination attempt on Muhammadu Buhari. Thank God, he came out unhurt. May Allah (SWT) continue to protect him.

This is not a good time to remind us of this. He wasnt president then. He is now so we will demand security and many other things from him. Heck we can demand him to physically raise Nigeria and relocate it to Mars, its within his purview.Your tweet is insensitive to our plight.

Quit looking for 2019 sympathy for Buhari and focus on governance! How's Buhari's life more important than that of 100s being slaughtered daily by herdsmen crisis that you went to dig this up? By the way, he survived and became president and how well has Nigeria faired under him?

Alhamdulilah he came out unscathed. Now tell him what is happening on Abj-Kd expressway. Those that died & are dying are not fortunate enough to have bulletproof jeeps.
