On Tuesday, former Head of State Gen Yakubu Gowon visited President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House Abuja.
Gowon told State House correspondents after the meeting that they discussed the state of affairs of the country and his planned holiday in the United Kingdom and the USA.
, “I have come to pay my respect to Mr. President and to let him know that I will be going out of the country on holiday and for my programme, Nigeria Prays, in the US and UK.
“We had cause to discuss the general affairs of the country, the problems we have in the country and his fight against corruption.
“The expectation of the public is that they want to see result, though no one has been found guilty. We believe that will soon begin.”
