Flying Eagles leave for Sudan

The Flying Eagles departed the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport, Abuja on Thursday aboard an Ethiopian Airlines flight for Khartoum for the 2017 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations qualifying match against their Sudanese counterparts.

On the trip were 18 players and nine officials of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF.

The Media Officer of the team, Mr Adewale Ajayi told the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN in Abuja on Thursday that Zamfara FA Chairman, Ibrahim Gusau was leading the delegation.

The match will be played by 8 pm on Sunday.
