Boko Haram jihadists kill 32 troops at Bosso

Boko Haram terrorists numbering hundreds attacked an army post at Bosso near the border with Nigeria on Friday, killing 30 Nigerien troops, 2 Nigerian soldiers and wounding 67 others.

According to a statement issued by Niger Republic's Defence Ministry, many of the attackers were killed but were taken away.
"Our defence and security forces carried out a counter-attack this morning which enabled them to retake all positions in the town of Bosso.

"The situation is under control and calm has returned."

The terrorists frequently attack the South East of Niger from there stronghold in North East Nigeria.
