Metuh gets N600m bail in destruction of statement case.

A High Court in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja on Friday granted the incarcerated spokesman of the PDP, Olisa Metuh bail in the sum of N600m.

The PDP spokesman was docked by the EFCC on Thursday on the allegation of tearing the statement he made to operatives of the anti graft agency.

Ruling on the accused's bail application, Justice Ishaq Bello of FCT, Abuja High Court said that he agreed with Metuh's lawyer that his offense is bailable.

He thereafter, fixed February 26 for commencement of trial.

Metuh had earlier in the week been granted N400m bail in a case of money laundering.
