Justice Abang Obong of a Federal High Court in Abuja on Friday, remanded the spokesman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Olisa Metuh in Kuje Prison, Abuja.
Metuh was docked by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC on a seven-point charge bordering on fraud. He pleaded not guilty to all the charges.
Metuh's counsel, Barr Ifedayo Adedipe had made an oral application for bail which was opposed by prosecution counsel, Rotimi Jacobs.
While the judge ordered the defense counsel to file the application properly, he directed that the accused be transferred from EFCC custody to Kuje Prison.
