The Kaduna Refining and Petrochemical Company, KROC has reached a daily output of 3.2 million litres of petrol.
The Group General Manager, Public Affairs of Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, Mr Ohi Alegbe disclosed this in Abuja yesterday.
He expressed optimism that the long fuel queues across the country would soon be a thing of the past.
He said that the plant which resumed production over the weekend with an initial petrol yield of about 1.5 million litres has increased its daily yield to 3.2 million litres.
“The injection of this volume into the system will significantly impact ongoing special intervention efforts designed to bring relief to motorists across the country,” he said.
