Buhari Shaken And Shocked By Anambra Explosion

President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed shock and sadness over the loss of lives in Thursday's explosion at a gas plant in Nnewi, Anambra State.

Buhari in a statement issued in Abuja on Friday by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu said that he was deeply shocked and shaken by the large scale loss of lives of people who were looking forward to a joyous Christmas.

“My heart and prayers go out to these grieving families at this difficult and painful moment,’’ he said.

The explosion happened at a gas plant belonging to the Chikason Group.
