Brekete Family To Sink Boreholes For IDPs

Brekete Family Reality Show is to drill four boreholes at Internally Displaced Persons, IDP camps across the North East of Nigeria.

The pledge was made on Wednesday 26 August 2015 in Abuja, during an interactive radio program in which Brekete Family Show hosted Brig - Gen Rogers Nicholas, Chief of Army Civil and Military Affairs.

Big-Gen Nicholas called for the cooperation of civilians and corporate organizations in rebuilding the areas ravaged by warfare so that the IDPs could return to their normal lives. He said that a lot of amenities, worship centers, schools and health centers had been destroyed by the insurgents and would need rebuilding.

He called on good spirited Nigerians to come forward for cooperation with the Nigerian Army to return the war ravaged areas to normalcy.

As Brekete Family's response to the appeal by the military, the president and founder of the show, Ordinary Ahmed Isa pledged to drill four boreholes at the IDP camps in Mubi, Yola and Damaturu. He also appealed to corporate organizations to show that they are socially responsible corporate citizens by helping the IDPs.

Big-Gen Nicholas gave the number on which he can be contacted by those who wish to partner with the Army in helping the IDPs as +234 08034036932.
