Police To Cater For Children Of Officers Killed In Fight Against Boko Haram - IGP

“Henceforth, no police officer killed in the fight against insurgency will be left abandoned. The children and family of such will not be left to suffer. "

These are the words of Inspector General of Nigeria Police, Solomon Arase. He made the pledge in an address to officers and men of Abuja Police Command over the weekend.

He also said that the family of a fallen Police officer would promptly receive all emoluments due to them while four of his children would be entitled to education up to University level on the bill of the Nigeria Police.

Families of slain Nigerian Police officers are known to suffer years of hardship to get their emoluments due to corruption and bureaucracy.
