One interesting outcome of President Muhammadu Buhari's recent visit to the United States is that he came back with a comprehensive list of Nigerians who have been stealing the nation's oil.
Punch reports that President Buhari has in fact two separate lists. One list contains government officials who have been stealing the country's oil directly or have been using their offices to aid and abet the act. The second list shows the names of oil bunkerers.
The President is reported to have vowed that nobody whose name is on the list of oil thieves would go scot free.
It will be recalled that President Muhammadu Buhari was elected into office mainly on the strength of his anti-corruption stance.
