Wife of Dr Bukola Saraki, Senate President, Mrs Toyin Saraki has said that she is ready to cooperate with the EFCC over the invitation extended to her by the anti graft agency on suspicion of monumental fraud.
Mrs Saraki was recently invited by the EFCC where she is expected to answer questions on suspicious inflow of large funds into her companies during her husband's tenure as the governor of Kwara State.
Here is what she said in a statement released by her private secretary, Mr Akeem Olagoke. "I will be delighted to assist them with any lawful enquiries they may have, as a law-abiding, transparent and accountable private citizen."
Mr Olagoke said Mrs Saraki has confirmed a date to visit the EFCC but has no idea what the invitation is all about. She is expected to be a guest of the anti graft agency on July 28.
