According to Bishop Martins Uzoukwu of the Catholic Diocese of Minna, Niger State, those who expose treasury looters will not only be rewarded by the government but also by God.

Very popular with pupils and adults alike, awara is eaten with onions and chili pepper.
It can also be used in place of meat in soups and other foods.
You may not find this snack in the high brow areas of Abuja. You generally find it being sold in the suburbs of the Federal Capital Territory.
