Aisha Buhari welcomes PMB with exotic flowers (photo)
An elated wife of the president, Mrs Aisha Buhari receiving her husband with exotic Gardenias flowers on his return to the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Among those who witnessed the special moment were the wife of the Vice President, Mrs. Dolapo Osinbajo, the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs.Winifred Oyo-Ita, the Senior Special Assistant to the First Lady,
Mrs. Hajo Sani; one of the daughters of the President; the Chairman of the Northern Governors Forum, Alhaji Abdulazeez Yari and some governors' wives.
Osinbajo to continue as Acting President (PMB)
President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday said he would not resume power immediately but instead allow his VP Osinbajo to continue as Acting President.
Buhari returned to the country Friday after his 51 days medical vacation in the United Kingdom.
Hinting that he still needed more time to rest, Buhari said that he “came back towards the weekend, so that the Vice President will continue and I will continue to rest.”
He however didn't give a timeline as to how long Osinbajo would be in that position.
With or without me, Nigeria will continue, says Buhari
President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday told a gathering of government officials that Nigeria would continue even without him.
The President also remarked that he had never been this sick all his life.
“I couldn’t recall being so sick since I was a young man , including in the military with its ups and downs,” he said.
He did not disclose the nature of his ailment but only made reference to blood transfusions.

Julius Berger Nigeria Plc has commenced repair works on the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport runway, following its 6 week closure on March 8.
The project is estimated to cost the Federal Government N5.8 billion.
