Angry Kano youths burn two legislators' houses over failed campaign promises (Photos)

Two serving members of the National Assembly, Senator Kabiru Gaya and Hon Abdullahi Mahmud of the House of Representatives both from Kano State on Wednesday had their houses, campaign offices and other properties burnt down by angry youths protesting the failure of the politicians to fulfill promises they made during the 2015 elections.

The News Agency of Nigeria, NAN however reports that attempts by the youths to also burn the home of the Chairman of Gaya Local Government Area were thwarted by security personnel.
