Read Paul Okoye's emotional message to fans and Peter's response.

Fans of Psquare know that these are not the best of times for the brothers as a family.

The management style of their elder brother, Jude has been at the center of their squabble, with Peter coming to express his misgivings on the social media.

Read Paul's passionate appeal to fans on the issue, and after that, see his twin brother, Peter's response to the issues he raised.

Paul's message to fans of Psquare :

“All you all want is Psquare ,…all I want is family, love and care!!! Social media is the new root of all evil!! There’s family before Psquare and there will always be family after Psquare ….Jude was only a scape goat and a victim .The person who has been keeping us together for all these years,..the truth is Peter and Paul have issues!.

For the first time I decided to do something outside Psquare ,and that is the case study here. I have always supported my brother 100% from his personal endorsements to dance with Peter which some are still on my I.g…

Now I have just 3 questions….Why is it that these things are happening immediately I released Muno’s single under Rudeboy Recordz. no.2 .. How come after Jude stopped managing Psquare for over a month now, the problem still exists. No.3 why is he in a hurry to go solo and doing solo?

it’s very sad, and very heart breaking I wish these things never came out to the public at first… Now our fans are divided  Pls nobody shld support any team Paul sh*t, I don’t need that.. Pls desist from it cos thats evil…and for those of you promoters supporting him to be performing Psquare's songs alone on stage, you are only killing us and destroying us the more .Dear brother am begging you ,even if you don’t want Jude anymore and you don’t want Psquare, u re forever going to be my brother … But I wish the 3 of us could still do these together, bcos its a thing of joy….people love us so much not only because of our good music but seeing brothers doing it together and keeping it together, setting a good example to other families and to our kids.

Pls swallow ur pride, forgive and forget, we can still turn these things around…. If I have said anything or done anything that hurts you. Am very sorry…. And to all our true fans pls pray for us.

God bless you all.

Now read Peter Okoye's response :

Hi guys. Thanks for the love and support, I so much appreciate everyone of you. For public record, I don’t have any issues with my brother Paul the only issue I have is with the management which I have disassociated myself with.

There is a clear line between family and business, Jude still remains my brother, he is just no longer my manager.

For the record also, P’square still remains, the only difference is that we are under separate managements and there is nothing wrong with that. I see no wrong in doing separate projects and and still being together as P’square. I love my brother Paul, I support him and wish him the very best in life but misguiding the media is not the right thing to do, if we have issues as brothers, the right thing to do is settle it between ourselves and not give media something to feed on. I took family issues to the public when I went on a Twitter rant but I apologised for that, you shouldn’t do the same, making me look like a bad person and giving the public an opportunity to crucify me is not a solution.

You went solo first by releasing a song with ‘Tiwa’ and your new artists. This doesn’t stop us from producing good music together or giving our fans the best of P’square, it’s just time for personal development. I am not against Rudeboy Records, northside entertainment and wish you the very best. Thanks for the love once again.

God bless you all.

Mobile phone of Secretary of World Muslim League stolen in Abuja mosque

Thieves have reportedly stolen the mobile phone of the visiting Secretary-General of the World Muslim League, H.E. Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmohsen Al Turki in Abuja.

Sources said that the Saudi Arabian who is in Abuja for the International Islamic Conference on Peace and Nation Building lost his mobile phone after leading Friday's Jumaat prayers at the National Mosque on Friday.

According to a security source, the theft is suspected to have occurred after the Jumaat service when many dignitaries and worshippers struggled to make contact with the distinguished scribe, causing a security breach in the process.

“Despite tight security for him, some thieves made away with the handset of the Executive Secretary of the World Muslim League.

“The theft occurred after the Jumat prayer session suggesting that there was breach of the security wall at the National Mosque. Some smart guys took advantage of the relaxed atmosphere to strike.

“This incident created an embarrassment for the cleric, diplomats and most of the dignitaries that accompanied him to the service.

“The visitor from Saudi Arabia was shocked and embarrassed. No one could explain how it happened,” said the source.

Meanwhile, investigations are on by security agencies to fish out the culprit behind the theft of the mobile phone.

“All the agencies have swung into action to arrest those who perpetrated the act. They will get the brains behind the incident. I cannot confirm whether or not any arrest has been made but we will crack this case to correct any misgivings,” said a source knowledgeable about the investigations.

Read Ese Oruru's secret love letter to Yunusa (unedited)

A love letter supposedly written by abducted 13 year-old school girl, Ese Oruru to Yunusa Dahiru, her abductor just before her abduction has surfaced.

The letter suggests that an amorous relationship had existed between the minor and Yunusa before her abduction to Kano and subsequent conversion to Islam.

Read the letter below (unedited) and draw your own conclusions.
'‘Pls read & reply me Inusa

"Dear, Inusa how are you? I hope you are fine and all is well with you?

“Please don’t be annoyed by these words but I think it is best for the both of us. Please please please don’t be annoyed I beg of you Inusa, maybe everyone just have to say the truth.

"I want to start by saying thank you for everything if accepted, thank you yanzu, I would say I now know what is going on which you never wanted to tell me but I will say that is not fair.

“When I started selling here, I met Abubakar who once told me that he had fellings for me but I can never send because I did not have fellings for him, so I turned him down.

“Then again I met Genedu and I also turned him down.

“Now, it is Dantata which everybody knows that he loves me dearly but I find a lot of faults in him and don’t love him back. He has done his best to stay down and beg about one year now, if I am right, I will never lie to you Inusa.

“Dantata has been begging me to love him back but as soon as I wanted to fall for him you came back into my life. I still know that Dantata is still waiting for me only if I will accept him.

“Inusa I now know that you also love me and I have decided to love you back. I love you Inusa but sometimes I do think Dantata is still seeking.

“My name as known by myself is RITA and my main problem is that if I love you (Inusa) and you also love me what will become of us.

“You once told me you like me more than anyone else, but now I have seen how far you have gone in this case because it is very serious to me.

"You asked me to help you in just three ways in which you said:

“Follow me to my village – Kano State

“Leave your religion for mine – Christian & Muslim

“It is only you I love and no other person.

“I have already accepted the first quest then while decide to tell me that you cannot take me along with you the same day it is very unfair. Inusa why, just tell me why you decide to be unfair.

“Well Inusa there were many other Hausa boys who asked for friendship but did not get it. I had so many people who I have lived with do you know what it means to live the people you had lived with for 13 good years of life.

“Think on me Inusa please

“I beg of you Inusa please

“Think on me

“My heart beats immediately or anytime I see you if you know how much I love you you will not think about hurting my fellings.

“I still stand by you Inusa, yeallo yellow my best colour but one question who made you think.

“I write this because I am sick and tired of this baldadash I hear everyday.

“You should know this Genedu, Abubakar, Saidu are humans for crying out loud. Inusa to conclude this, taught you can solve this problem by just one thing.

“Your address and your phone number, maybe if we have to go one by one we shall do just that.

“No matter what happens I still love you Inusa

“No matter what the case may be I still love you Inusa

“From yours dearly Rita a.k.a Ese.”

Read President Buhari’s speech at the International Islamic Conference for Peace and Nation Building

It is my great pleasure to join you this afternoon at the commencement of this International Conference for Peace and Nation Building, which I understand is a joint effort between Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’a Wa Iqamatis Sunna based here in Nigeria, and the Muslim World League.

2. I would like to welcome you all; especially those of you who took the time to travel from different parts of the world to attend this very important conference. In particular I would like to extend a warm welcome to His Eminence, Professor Abdullahi bin Abdulmohsin Al- Turki, the Executive Secretary of the Muslim World League.

3. The theme and timing of this conference are most apt, coming at a time when most of the world is grappling with one form of violent conflict or another. I am particularly impressed by the objectives of the conference, which include:
a. To promote national, regional and global cooperation against the spread of insurgency
b. To correct the distortions about the concept of peace in Islamic ideology and philosophy
c. To contribute to the global fight against terrorism because security is a shared responsibility.
d. To attract global attention to the plight of those most affected by the insurgency which is mostly concentrated in the North Eastern part of our country. These include Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), orphaned children, widows and the elderly who have been rendered homeless and helpless as a result of the insurgency.

4. I wish to commend the organizers JIBWIS Nigeria and the Muslim World League, for this initiative. By making the Conference multi-religious and multi- sectoral, you have broadened the scope of the discourses that the conference will generate and thus have enriched the ultimate gains that will accrue from this laudable initiative. I urge you to solidify and sustain this working relationship encompassing all Nigerians and our neighbours, irrespective of religion or tribe for the benefit of mankind.

5. In my inauguration address on 29th May 2015, I mentioned that Boko Haram is a mindless, godless group who are as far away from Islam as one can think of. I assured Nigerians that at the end of the hostilities when the group is subdued the Government would commission a sociological study to determine the origin, the remote and immediate causes of the movement, its sponsors, its international connections if any, to ensure that measures are taken to prevent a recurrence of this evil. The outcome of the proceedings of this conference will be useful in that regard.

6. As we have had cause to mention earlier, our government in joint cooperation with our neighbours, has substantially degraded the attacking capability of the insurgents to a level that has now compelled the insurgents to retreat. We will pursue them relentlessly until they become an item of history.

7. The tragic paradox of the global insurgency situation is that most of the atrocities committed by various insurgents all over the world today, are being carried out mainly by people who pretend to be Muslims, yet most of the victims and casualties are equally Muslims. To underscore their cruelty and godlessness, they particularly target the most vulnerable members of the society: children, women and the elderly. No religion approves of such heinous crimes against humanity; definitely not Islam nor Christianity, the two to which most Nigerians belong.

8. This is a tragedy which all normal people must rise up against. Islam does not permit lawlessness. It frowns at extremism even in normal acts of worship. The emergence of any group advocating the contrary is therefore irreligious and unacceptable. Religious leaders must intensify their efforts to send out the real teachings of their religion in order to counter the diabolical ideology that motivates the insurgent elements.

9. I wish to use this forum to call on all religious, community and political leaders to mobilize their followers against corruption and crimes of any kind. They should also encourage them to be more tolerant of each other; and recognize the rights of others as they want others to recognize their rights to worship and live freely.

10. Our country Nigeria has suffered many years of official neglect and corruption leading to untold hardships to the common man. I wish to assure you that our government will do everything possible to safeguard lives and property and also to ensure even development across the country.

11. The global economic challenges the world is grappling with today might well turn out to be a blessing for us in Nigeria, because it will stimulate the latent economic opportunities that we have left untapped for decades. Poverty breeds disaffection, which in turn leads to crime and lawlessness including confrontation against the State. To checkmate this, we must work hard to lift our economy, engage our youth and rebuild infrastructure. We can only achieve these with full cooperation of all Nigerians and under a stable polity. We are determined to do this and we shall not be deterred.

12. As I declare this timely conference open, I wish you all the blessings of God and successful deliberations.

Thank you.
