We didn't appoint Waku observer in Saraki's trial - ACF

The Arewa Consultative Forum has washed its hands off a story purporting that it has appointed Senator JKN Waku to be its observer at the trial of Senate President, Bukola Saraki at the Code of Conduct Tribunal.

The General Secretary of the forum, Colonel JIP Ubah (Rtd) said in a statement in Kaduna that at no time did any of its organs consider sending anybody to represent it at the tribunal in any capacity.

“Therefore, the ACF totally dissociates itself from the statements credited to Senator JKN Waku in the story. Sen. JKN Waku is on his own.

“The ACF is a nonpartisan, and foremost umbrella organisation committed to northern development and national unity. It is not in the tradition of the ACF to take sides or interfere in judicial processes,” he said.
