Corruption : Super Rich Civil Servants In Trouble

Civil servants who own choice properties in Abuja and live above their legitimate income are now being watched by anti corruption agencies.

Anti graft agents have been directed to detain and interrogate suspects with a view to recovering ill-gotten wealth.

The agencies are relying on petitions from civil servants and their own operatives for information. So far, focus is said to be on civil servants who own more than three real estate properties in Abuja and fleets of choice cars beyond their income.

The ICPC in particular is said to be working hard and discreetly to recover assets acquired with stolen public funds.
